Guru Gone Too Soon

Keith Elam died of cancer related causes Monday after a long battle with the disease. Keith was more known by his rapper alias, Guru, and for being part of the group Gangstarr. If you liked hip-hop in the late 90’s, or early part of the 00 decade you have of heard of him and most likely some of his music. It’s always sad to see someone pass away at such a young age (47) from a disease. You may remember back in March when it was reported that he suffered a stroke, but that wasn’t his only health problem as there was a little more behind the story than what was originally reported. Who knows, I might want to hide that I have cancer. Anyways, I always liked Guru’s music, and hope that his death at least ended the suffering he was going through to battle the disease. I think Guru knew that we’d be writing a tribute to him when he passed. I mean, why else would he have written a perfect theme song for our blog about doin work!?!

Life must be really great in DC as McNabb has allegedly stated that he’d be amenable to linkin’ up with TO again ? Now Sarah Palin has desire on becoming tv star . What’s next ?

Report: McNabb has ‘encouraged’ Redskins to sign T.O.

Children in a sandbox play better together than Donovan McNabb(notes) and Terrell Owens(notes) did when they both were with the Philadelphia Eagles. After some initial success in Owens’ first year, the two barely spoke, clashed in public, divided the locker room and bitterly divorced during what would become the worst football season of the decade in the City of Brotherly Love.

Despite all that, Donovan McNabb is reportedly open to playing with Terrell Owens again. Sources tell ESPN.com that McNabb, who was recently traded to the Washington Redskins, has encouraged the team’s coaching staff to look at the unsigned Owens to fill the team’s need at wide receiver. McNabb and Owens reportedly patched things up during a recent taping of a reality TV show.

ESPN reports that the team is not currently pursuing Owens and would like to avoid bringing him into the locker room. That’s not the right decision, it’s the only decision.

Even if T.O. was at his peak, the last thing McNabb would need in his first season in D.C. is the mercurial wideout hanging around and threatening to derail the whole operation with one outburst. T.O. is like a powder keg of diva. Under the right conditions he can be an explosive asset. Under the wrong conditions he can just explode. This is the wrong condition.
