There’s nothing like a fight to get the fans’ minds off what a horrible game that was played last night.
There was more action there in large part than there was actually during the the game at times.

I agree! Reminds me of a certain Pistons-Pacers game from a few years back!
Anyhow, between this game and the South Carolina – NC State game, it was quite an anticlimactic season opener last night!

Now everyone is opining on the fact that Blount’s antagonist wasn’t punished. Well wasn’t it in-fact Blount who first started it all with the bragging ?
He’s totally deserving of the punishment meted out !

The thing that makes the difference to me is had Blount not retaliated, we would’ve never even seen or heard about Byron Hout’s taunting. Coach would’ve simply talked to him and made sure he didn’t do it again. They did that, so the issue is resolved. Besides, he caught a vicious right to the jaw! That’s punishment in my book!
Although, word is Blount skipped practice, so maybe my prediction is completely wrong after all!

But the fact of the matter is that he did and it showed his petulant and immature behavior. This’ll no doubt hurt any ambitions that he might’ve had about entering the NFL draft. He’ll plummet down the draft depth status for sure !
