CFL Is Entertaining

No, this isn’t the CFL, but HS football in Canada is pretty much the same thing. This is kind of what I pictured the XFL ending up like with the side storylines that had nothing to do with the game, and being more important than who won or lost. There was so much going on I had to watch it a couple of times, and I still don’t think I saw it all. Those must’ve been some experienced sh** talkers in the stands, because I’ve never seen a whole team get that pissed. Did those guys do some research and have a list of one liners to offend all their dead relatives?!? That’s the only explanation I can think of. This makes Artest-SJax’s rampage look like a Justin Beiber-Zac Effron slapping fight.

You should be tempered by the fact that Vince McMahon watched this from afar and is now thinking of revisiting the XFL . Word is that he’ll buy the UFL bring about everything that we allegedly love about the WWE and fuse that in with his new product . God I hope not ! LOL,LOL ,LOL !!!

LOL, I remember when the XFL first came out I was still a WWF (wasn’t WWE yet) fan. I didn’t see how the league could fail with guys like “He hate me” in it. Sure didn’t work out though. I found myself bored after a quarter. I would like to hear huddles mic’d up at points during games that was the only revolutionary idea they had…

The only thing missing from the XFL were half naked chicks running up down the field . Hell no wonder I’m now transfixed by what happens in the Lingerie League.

Goodell suffered a head shot this morning as his wife was proffering up oral sex and he’s now said to be suffering from a migraine .

It’s beginning to look as if the Phillies will be dropped like a bad habit if the Giants continue to play like they have been doing in the NLCS .

The Phillies have jinxed themselves with that mediocre display from their offense. The Yankees are faring no better themselves . A J Burnett and the Yankees’ bullpen should be exiled to outer Siberia .

I guess this proves once again that the playoffs is a straight crapshoot!

Speaking of crap either Goodell has finally gotten the hint or he simply wants to pi_s off the NFLPA with his latest edict about helmet to helmet hits ?

The Steelers’ James Harrison is seriously contemplating retirement because of this even after being hit with a $75 k fine .

Somewhere Ron Artest is smiling and David Stern is having a conniption fit.

I actually think this was a stunt from the league to have players enter the stands so that it would look like THERE WERE ACTUALLY PEOPLE ATTENDING THE GAME!

The CFL’s new motto? “Let’s beat up our only fan.”

Have you guys heard Stern’s latest plea to the players ? He’s asking that they make ready to give up concessions of $850 million in order that the league overall averts financial ruin .

I hear that the Colombian drug cartels are willing to ante up for a price as they seem to love the NBA ?

David Stern wants cuts in NBA salaries

NBA commissioner David Stern said there was no quantifiable progress in collective bargaining talks this summer, and the league revealed it is seeking a reduction in player salary costs by about one-third.

Stern said the league wants player costs to drop $750-800 million. Deputy commissioner Adam Silver said the NBA spends about $2.1 billion annually in player salaries and benefits.

Stern and Silver spoke after two days of meetings with league owners, who are seeking major changes to the current CBA that expires June 30. . . .

I hope they don’t adopt revenue sharing, that would be tragic to the small market fan bases!

The salary cap is the misnomer it’s become now for the NBA . Stern needs to pull his head out of his ass and realize that a great deal more is needed from the teams . They’ve also got to live within their means as well and that’s what has been happening with so many of them. We can all see the inherent problems with many of them as they seek to plough their cash into the venues and simply forget about the on field product.
