Great Article on Beane. The A’s, considering Holliday was leaving after the season, got a great haul for him. Wallace will probably start at third base next season, and though he is a hot commodity, Peterson is though to be the steal in the deal. Both hit for average and have good plate discipline. Even the pitcher, Mortensen, could be a third-to-fourth starter in the majors.

Beane worked his magic yet again.
